Monolith Optics products are produced in small batches using high-resolution resin 3D printing. This process allows us to create detailed, specialized parts without traditional mass-production tooling.
01 // WHAT TO EXPECT
RESIN-PRINTED COMPONENTS
3D-printed resin parts are not injection-molded parts. Fine layer lines, subtle stepping, small support-removal marks, and minor variations in surface finish may be visible on a finished piece.
These characteristics are a normal part of the manufacturing process and may vary slightly from part to part.

NORMAL SURFACE VARIATION
The examples below show the type of visible print artifacts customers may encounter on production parts. They are included to provide a realistic view of the surface finish produced by our printing process.
03 // QUALITY CONTROL
OUR STANDARD
Every part is inspected before shipment. Components with significant deformation, incomplete features, structural damage, or other issues outside our production standard are rejected.
Normal print lines and minor cosmetic surface artifacts like those shown above are not considered defects.
Our goal is that every product arrives complete, functional, and visually consistent with the quality represented throughout our product photography.
